Children’s of Mississippi provides all outpatient behavioral health services at the Center for the Advancement of Youth (CAY). The Center for the Advancement of Youth is a referral-based clinic which works with your child’s primary care provider (Pediatrician or other medical provider) to ensure that your child is scheduled appropriately. Children's of Mississippi offers comprehensive behavioral health care, including outpatient and inpatient psychiatric and psychological services, for preschoolers through adolescents.
From extensive evaluation and diagnostic services to innovative neuroscience treatments, we help children and adolescents with mental and emotional well-being. Our child psychologists, psychiatrists and behavioral therapists offer testing and treatment for conditions ranging from the common to complex and from mild to the most severe. The care team within the psychiatry program includes four child/adolescent psychiatrists, three child psychologists, a nurse practitioner, and a social worker.
